The position offers a salary of £70,000 per year and requires a proven track record as a .NET Developer or Application Architect.

Solution Architect – Manchester - Hybrid Working

Our client based in Manchester is currently looking for a skilled Solutions Architect with C# and .NET experience permanently. You will be helping our client define how technology should and will be used to satisfy the group's objectives. The Solution Architect will work with the Head of Architecture, Business Services, and Technical products to help develop the business requirement and to specify the technology solution in the form of Design Documentation, Use Cases and other specifications.

The duties of the Solution Architect will include:

Assisting in the definition of the Enterprise Architecture and focus product strategy
Ensure solutions support the architectural direction of the group's technology and the focus product strategy
Review the suitability of internal and external solutions, making recommendations to the Head of Architecture and Focus Design Authority and ensuring alignment to the Groups Technology and Product Strategies
Provide analytical insight into understanding and communicating a design to a level that facilitates technical development including the creation of both high-level and detailed design documentation

The Solution Architect will have the following:

Adept problem-solver with a creative, solutions-oriented approach to technical challenges.
Extensive application development experience, particularly with Microsoft .NET technologies, C#, VB, and HTML5/CSS3.
Proficient in API-centric architecture, microservices, and data integration techniques.
Well-versed in security principles with experience in designing secure services.
Skilled in creating and reviewing technical documentation.
Proven track record as a .NET Developer or Application Architect.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
Great attention to detail.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities.
Knowledgeable in REST and RPC APIs.
Strong team player.
