Basic Salary: £48,(Apply online only) - £58,(Apply online only)
Location: Manchester
Hours: 4 on 4 off

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled HGV Technician to join our growing team in Manchester. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated HGV Technician to join a reputable company offering competitive pay and ongoing development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of HGVs.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in line with industry regulations.
- Perform brake, suspension, and axle repairs, as well as welding and structural repairs.
- Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation.
- Adhere to health and safety standards while working in a busy workshop environment.
- Work effectively with other technicians and contribute to team success.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, ideally with experience working on heavy vehicles.
- Ability to work independently and to deadlines in a fast-paced workshop.
- Full UK driving license (HGV Class 1 preferred but not essential).
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
- IRTEC accreditation.
- Industry-recognized qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds).
- Tail lift, lifting deck, or double-deck trailer maintenance expertise.
