ICT Technician - school based

We're looking for an ICT Technician to start in September at a secondary alternative education provision in the Old Trafford area.

• Full time - Monday to Friday 8am-3pm.
• Excellent pay up to £120/day.
• Equal pay after the 12th week to permanent staff in same role.
• Temp to perm for the right person.
• Paid PAYE with Tradewind. We don't use umbrella pay companies!

• The school caters for young people aged 11-16 that have been excluded from mainstream schools.
• Students all have EHCPs for Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs.
• Maintain & develop IT infrastructure.
• Contribute to IT vision & strategy.
• Encourage users to adopt good IT practice and ensure correct use of equipment and that procedures are followed.
• Work alongside SLT to evaluate effectiveness.
• Overall responsibility for IT support requests.
• Maintenance of up to date documentation of all relevant IT and AV systems.
• Testing equipment.
• Managing user accounts.
