The Role

As a IT Field Engineer, you will provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance, ensuring the highest standards of service. You will be interacting with customers daily, addressing their needs, and helping them get the most out of their equipment.

  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment at client locations.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical problems promptly.
  • Carrying out routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Educating customers on how to operate and maintain their equipment.
  • Recording service activities and keeping precise documentation.
  • Working closely with customers to identify their needs and ensure their satisfaction.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Demonstratable experience in a comparable Field Engineer position.
  • Technical expertise of troubleshooting and repairing office, production, and desktop printers.
  • Experience with Xerox, Ricoh, or Epson.
  • Some Networking experience is desired but not essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Ability to travel nationally to customer sites as required.
