Our client, a leading global manufacturers since the early 1900's, are expanding their technical team. You would be supporting the office and warehouse staff across 2 sites in Whitefield and Oldham where you would be travelling between sites on a rota'd basis. A driving license and access to a vehicle is an essential requirement of the role.

The role offers hybrid working, one day each week, and two days every 3 weeks. This is rota'd between the technical support team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support to users across the office, factory and warehouse
  • Manage and resolve IT requests efficiently via the helpdesk system, ensuring issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PCs, printers, scanners, IP phones, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Support and contribute to the successful implementation of IT projects within the business.

Required Experience:

  • Windows 10 & 11, Windows Server 2019+
  • Microsoft Intune, Azure & Office 365
  • Active Directory / Group Policy / DHCP / DNS
  • Networking (Switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi, VPNs)
  • iOS & Android device management
  • VoIP telephony solutions
  • IT Helpdesk software (e.g., Manage Engine ServiceDesk Plus)

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in factory/manufacturers/industrial environment within IT Support
  • HCL Notes / Domino
  • Endpoint security deployment & management
  • VMware & Hyper-V
  • MacOS & Linux
