I am working with one of the UK's best IT Solutions providers leading their search for an IT Support Engineer who can assist with supporting their customers within the education sector both remotely as well as on site.The MSP that you will be working for are an incredible outfit with some superb training plans and facilities, and have a really good bunch of Engineers who are very tight knit, you will get truly looked after here. Within this role you will be working as part of a Service Desk team taking tickets supporting different Schools in the North West, as well as occasionally supporting these in person.

What You'll Do:* Deliver 1st / 2nd Line Support IT Support to schools / education customers.* Manage and enhance IT systems, networks, and infrastructure for optimal performance.* Conduct on-site visits across the North West to provide technical support and strategic guidance.* Quickly troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.* Collaborate with educational staff and corporate clients to identify and implement tailored IT solutions.
What We're Looking For:* Current DBS or a clean background in order to be provided with one. * Experience: 1 + years of IT support, ideally with educational institutions (experience with corporate clients is an advantage).* Technical Expertise: Proficient in network management, cloud platforms (Office 365, Google Workspace), and server administration (Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).* Specialized Skills: Experience with Educational tech systems (e.g., MIS, Paxton Systems).* Additional Tools: Skilled in Mac management, MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf), and print management tools * Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.* Communication: A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills for engaging with educators and business professionals.* Travel: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for regular travel across the North West.
