Our client is trusted by some of the world's leading brands across Technology, Media, FMCG and more. They provide real-time data and insight into consumers digital behaviours globally, enabling digital products and services are the very best they can be whilst keeping the upmost respect for consumers and their privacy.
You will be joining the Operations team, making sure the day-to-day running of the servers is kept to a high standard. This will be a hands-on role working in tangent with the Engineering team, handling support requests internally and externally as well as deploying and scaling systems.
The data capture systems use a combination of open-source and custom-built software on the Linux platform, using automation using tools like Puppet and Terraform.
After a suitable onboarding period, you may also join the out-of-hours on-call team, with additional compensation provided.
What you will need…
- Solid experience working with Linux - CentOS/Alma preferred
- Ability to script in Python or another language
- Terraform or other IaC tools - also knowledge of Atlassian's suite
- A background working on AWS Cloudwatch
- PagerDuty or other monitoring tools - Windows desktop management/InTune MDM
- Experience in running servers at scale
- Experience with VPS and dedicated server hosting companies worldwide
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Strong communication skills
