The Role:
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Analyst to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of their software solutions. You will work closely with the Test Lead and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse product documentation to fully understand business and technical requirements.
- Identify and define testable requirements from both documented and undocumented sources.
- Create, implement, and maintain test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Ensure complete coverage of Acceptance Criteria by linking Test Requirements to Test Cases.
- Prepare and manage appropriate test data.
- Execute test cases, record results, and track defects using Linear.
- Provide customer support for installed products by diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
- Adhere to formal change control processes.
- Estimate testing effort and provide timelines for assigned work.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in a software testing role.
- Strong ability to interpret system requirements and assess functionality changes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team and support team members where needed.
- Familiarity with Frontend Test Automation and its benefits, ideally with experience using an automated browser testing tool.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing.
