Team Leader - Reception & Office Support
Location: Central Manchester
Salary: 33,000 p/a
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00

Are you a dynamic leader ready to drive exceptional service and lead high-performing teams? Join our team as a Team Leader to work with one of our clients and play a crucial role in overseeing the on-site team, ensuring outstanding service delivery and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities of the Team Leader:
- Lead by example from the front.
- Proactively communicate with all direct reports on a frequent basis, both verbally and in writing, implementing new service ideas, systems, policies, and procedures.
- Write job descriptions and person specifications to company standards.
- Assume responsibility for recruitment in line with company policies.
- Responsible for on-site induction and probation of employees in line with company policies.
- Carry out annual appraisals in a timely manner with all direct reports and produce development and improvement plans that are followed through.
- Train, coach, mentor, and succession plan direct reports to achieve their full potential in line with the company's vision and values.
- Positively contribute towards Investors in People and any other relevant programs.
- Recognise and reward exceptional performance.
- Actively have succession plans in place for all direct reports.
Key Skills/Experience of the Team Leader:
- Identify realistic but challenging self-development needs and take full responsibility for your own development and learning.
- Effectively manage your own time on a day-to-day basis, placing emphasis on where your contribution will add the greatest value.
- Deliver all aspects of your role in a timely manner as required, without the need for follow-up by your direct manager.
- Maintain a positive, caring, enthusiastic, and engaging approach, always aspiring to be the best at what we do.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and proposals for clients and the company as required.
- Have a complete understanding of the finances within budget for our contract.
- Oversee payroll management.
- Ensure supplier invoices are processed promptly.
- Take ownership of the Portico monthly costs and their back-up.
- Produce reports, graphs, and statistical information as required.
- Work with the Group FOH Manager and wider clients to ensure our contracted services are consistently market-leading, looking for opportunities to sell and present these to clients.
