Position: Team Leader

Location: Manchester

Salary Range: 13.00 - 14.00 per hour + additional 50 sleep-in payment per shift

Contracted Hours: 40hrs

An established residential children's home are seeking a Team Leader to provide care and support for children and young people, offering a safe and therapeutic enviroment. Our clients home is located in Manchester, offering support to those with EBD, Learning Difficultiens and CSE support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate written records and enable regular monitoring and evaluation to take place
  • Assist the deputy and home manager in leading, motivating and supporting a team of support workers and senior support workers to meet the needs of Children and Young People.
  • Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers
  • Encourage young people to be actively participate in the environment and day to day activities.

Requirements:

  • Hold either a Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare OR equivalent
  • Experience working within a Residential Children's Home
  • Have a keen intrest in making a difference to children and young people lives
  • Full UK Driving Licence - Able to commute to Manchester
