Job Purpose:
Join our client's dynamic team as a CAD Operator/Designer, where you will play a pivotal role in designing mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks, AutoCAD Plant 3D & NAVISWORKS software. Utilize your expertise in mathematics, physics, and fabrication techniques to contribute to engineering solutions.

- Attend site visits for verification/measurement, producing general arrangement/proposal drawings.
- Interpret technical requirements of customer specifications and manage projects from development to production.
- Assist in procurement by providing technical specs for in-house buyers and furnish fabrication drawings to sub-contractors.
- Support Projects and Works departments to ensure seamless component integration, complying with industry regulations.
- Investigate and develop solutions for various problems individually or as part of a team.
- Collaborate with the wider company to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Degree qualified in an engineering/product design subject preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, along with 3D modelling experience, preferably in SolidWorks and/or NAVISWORKS.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Fluency in English to a very high standard, with excellent communication skills for client and colleague liaison.
- Additional languages are an advantage.
- Organised with a high level of administration ability to manage documentation effectively.
- Experience in an ISO9001 compliant environment or equivalent is advantageous.
