- Assist in the development and maintenance of technical specifications for products.
- Work closely with the Senior Garment Technologist to ensure garments are fit for purpose, meeting quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
- Support in garment fittings, taking notes, and helping to implement any necessary adjustments.
- Aid in the creation of size charts, measurement packs, and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure technical accuracy and resolve any issues related to construction or fit.
- Help manage the sample process, ensuring that samples are reviewed on time and meet the required technical standards.
- Ensure that all garments are compliant with relevant regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
- Assist with communicating any technical issues or potential improvements with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Learn and apply garment construction, fabric knowledge, and fit processes to all aspects of the role.
- Keep up to date with current trends, fabric innovations, and garment technologies to contribute fresh ideas.
What we'd love you to have:
- A degree or relevant qualification in Fashion Technology, Garment Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- A strong interest in fashion, garment construction, and technical detailing.
- Basic knowledge of garment construction and fit, with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Enthusiasm and a proactive attitude towards learning and development.
- A passion for working with exciting, dynamic, and trend-driven products.
