Job Opportunity: Apparel Designer for New Streetwear Brand in Manchester
We are seeking a talented and driven Apparel Designer to join our team for an exciting new streetwear brand based in Manchester. If you have a passion for streetwear culture and a solid background in apparel design, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of design projects from initial concept through to finished product, with a strong focus on streetwear
- Create detailed CADs, develop tech packs, and manage the product development process
- Work on a range of streetwear styles, from casual wear to statement pieces
- Collaborate with the team to ensure designs resonate with the target market and reflect streetwear trends
- Manage your own workload and ensure timely delivery of designs in a fast-paced environment
- Oversee the packing process and ensure all products meet quality standards
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in apparel design, ideally with wholesale or high-street brand exposure
- Strong understanding and passion for streetwear culture and trends
- Proven ability to work independently and manage your own projects from start to finish
- Proficiency in CADs, design software, and product development
- Attention to detail, with an eye for packaging and the finishing touches that make streetwear stand out
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team
