Our client near Stretford, Manchester is seeking Mechanical Fitters for a long-term position.
Candidates must have experience in assembling bespoke machinery and working from drawings, with skills in pipe bending, pneumatics, and installing pumps.
The role requires time-served Mechanical Fitters who can read and mark out drawings and make adjustments as necessary.
The salary is £22.00 per hour for CIS/Limited Contractors, and £17.00 per hour for PAYE, with overtime rates of £27.00 and time and a half respectively.

Our client based near Stretford, Manchester are looking to recruit Mechanical Fitters on a long term basis.

Applicants need to have experience working from drawings, assembling bespoke machinery for the Manufacturing Industry; Using skills such as pipe bending, pneumatics, installing pumps, hoses & motors.

Candidates need to be time served Mechanical Fitters, who can read drawings & mark out etc. The machines are bespoke so Fitters need to have the ability to complete a job which may need adjustments as they go on.

Hours of work:
Mon-Thurs: 08.00-16.30 & Fri: 08.00-15.30
Basic 39 hours.
Usual overtime of 1-2 hours a day & Saturday morning.

Hourly Rates:
CIS/ Limited Contractor:
Basic: £22.00 per hour.
Overtime: £27.00 per hour

PAYE: Basic: £17.00 per hour
Overtime @ time & half.
