DBR Group, acting as Recruitment Agency, are recruiting for an experienced Injection Moulding Technician/Setter for our very well established and renowned client based in Trafford Park.
Our client currently supply many leading brand companies with critical components, and recognise the need to respond quickly to customer demands. They have over 20 years experience of bringing designs to market.
About the Job
Working for a very well-established company in Trafford Park, Manchester, you will be working as an Injection Moulding Technician/Setter on a Permanent position.
You will have worked in a similar environment previously and have Moulding Technician/Setter knowledge/experience.
Duties:
Monitoring production processes ensuring optimum running conditions
Tooling change overs
Resolving machine related production/quality issues in an efficient and timely manner
Providing efficient end of shift handovers
Product quality moulded products
Monitor and maintain quality in accordance with specification
Use fork truck and manual means to move raw material and finished products
Perform tool trials
Help to achieve optimum production
Make every effort to keep moulded product scrap to a minimum
Maintain a clean and tidy workplace and good housekeeping within the factory
Follow and understand operating procedures and job sheets for moulded products
Inform the Production Manager immediately of any breaches of the works rules

Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Technician/Setter
Fork truck licence/Counterbalance

Shifts
3 shifts on a rotation basis:
6am to 2pm
2pm to 10pm
10am to 6pm
Remuneration:
- £37,000 per annum
20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
4% Company pension
