A well-established manufacturer of plastic products sold to retail outlets across the UK has been experiencing continued growth, and is looking for Injection Moulding Technicians to join their team.
Working within a busy mouldshop containing over 50 machines, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the shift, ensuring job orders are running to time and budget.
With over four decades of success, the order book continues to grow, ensuring job stability and longevity.
***£33,000 - £39000 depending on experience and shift***
As an Injection Moulding Technician, your duties will include:
- Tool changing and condition setting, sometimes from scratch
- Trouble shooting moulding issues
- Optimising processes
- Starting and stopping robots
- Quality checks
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will:
- Have a solid background in plastic injection moulding as a Setter or Technician
- Have a good knowledge of the operation and use of moulding machines
- Be capable of resolving moulding/process issues in a timely manner
- Possess good knowledge of materials and their characteristics.
