Jobstore are actively recruiting for an applicant to fulfil a Tool Setter position within a hugely successful business that specialised in Injection Moulding services across the world.
This opportunity is for a skilled setter / technician to join the company working a 3 shift system across a 24/7 operation.
Job Responsibilities
Change over and setting of Tools and trailing any new jobs.
Optimising efficiency of the other jobs and resolving any issues relating to production in a timely manner.
Montor the quality of the moulds to ensure they comply with regular quality checks and minimise the amount of moulds sent to scrap.
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure that 5S is followed throughout the manufacturing.
Liaising with production Planners in regards to any problems that occur and assisting where possible with any amendments / repairs.
Ensuring the smooth hand over at the end of every shift.
. Resolving machine related production/quality issues in an efficient and timely manner
Job Requirements
Past experience within a similar tool setter role.
Good knowledge of injection moulding is essential
Excellent communicator and enthusiastic attitude.
