We have a unique opportunity available right now for highly motivated, hardworking professionals with a strong commercial insurance background who are searching for a more flexible work environment.

This award-winning, global insurance business is looking for a talented and experienced commercial Client Advisor to help enhance account retention and boost growth. This challenging role is perfect for exceptional commercial insurance professionals who need a healthier work/life balance - especially real flexibility.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, driven professional with a proven track record of working to targets within a regulated, measurable framework, and achieving SLAs. With your strong commercial insurance background, you’ll be risk-aware (particularly when handling customer information), demonstrate astute due diligence and be adept in driving processes to deadlines. The company will favour candidates with a strong history of remaining with employer(s) for long-term periods.

Based in Manchester, you’ll be working as a Client Advisor joining a thriving, friendly, and inclusive team focused on providing services to public sector clients (such as the police). Working alongside account directors, you’ll be supporting books handling numerous large client accounts, delivering a first-class service across a broad range of commercial insurance products, and handling large premium levels.

Experience in corporate insurance would be ideal, any similar experience in a client-facing role will be highly beneficial. However, if you have solid personal lines or specialist commercial experience but you’re highly motivated to transition into this specific space (and clearly have bags of potential), then you’ll definitely be strongly considered.

The company successfully grows its own talent, so you’ll be mentored and fully supported to achieve your ambitious and exciting career development plan. Candidates should either already hold (or are committed to working towards) the CII qualifications (desirable).

Once you have cleared the 2-week induction phase, you’ll be offered the opportunity to work from home for up to three days a week. In addition to a highly competitive salary and a healthy discretionary bonus, you can expect outstanding benefits, including great holiday entitlement, access to share incentives, pension, and life assurance schemes. There are multiple further flexi benefits that you can tailor around your personal needs (such as season ticket allowance and gym membership).

You’ll be able to prove your Rights to Work in the UK and successfully pass an enhanced DBS. Finally, you will need to be fully proficient in MS Office.

Please apply for the role by submitting your most up-to-date CV.

At Insure Recruitment, we work with clients who are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. So, if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification or criteria in the above description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be exactly what we’re looking for in this or other roles.
