Your new role

Complaint Coordinator 25k to 27k. The role is 37 hours per week, remote working with travel to clinics within the region. This role will consider part-time candidates and the schedule will look like a minimum of 2 days a week / pro rata salary.

Supporting a large mental health charity, you will be working as a complaints coordinator.The key responsibilities of the role are to provide support to the user experience and support the management of the complaints process.

You will proactively act on complaints handling, providing support, advice and guidance to all levels of staff throughout the organisation to ensure that statutory and organisation requirements for complaints management are met.You will be able to facilitate effective, efficient and confidential handling of complaints using discretion, initiative, tact and diplomacy.

Supporting the wider team in the maintenance of the administrative systems, maintaining the central complaints database and assisting in the collation of reports.Your attention to detail will be excellent as you must ensure that all incidents are logged and associated items are available (e.g., consultation records, voice recordings, system reports).You will be dealing with a wide stakeholder network of mental health professionals and following a process/audit driven way of working.

What you'll need to succeed Previous complaints experience within either NHS/ mental health or industry is considered a must in this role.You must be able to liaise with both extremely vulnerable members of society along with health professionals. Excellent communication skills, along with empathy and understanding of the service users. What you'll get in return
