Exciting Opportunity for a Criminal Fees/Billing Clerk

Are you a dynamic and dedicated clerk with a passion for criminal law? My client is on the lookout for a highly motivated individual to join a close-knit administration team! If you have a solid grasp of criminal fees, billing, and debt management, this could be the perfect role for you.

We welcome applications from candidates with 3+ years of experience, ideally within a barrister's chambers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Master criminal CPS and legal aid billing, along with fee collection.

- If you have experience with family legal aid billing, that's a bonus!

- Dive into fee chasing and debt collection, ensuring efficient management of aged debts.

- Generate aged debt reports and tackle challenges head-on.

- Utilise your proficiency in the LEX case management system and LAA billing portal.

- Bring your strong IT and numeracy skills to the forefront.

- Communicate with clarity and professionalism, building great relationships with colleagues and clients.

- Juggle tasks, prioritise effectively, and thrive under pressure.

- Showcase your general administrative skills and take charge of your workload.
