About the Role:

Time Recruitment is currently acting on behalf of a leading UK insurance brokerage to recruit an experienced Property Insurance Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and knowledgeable professional to join a dynamic and growing team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on a wide range of property insurance policies, including residential, commercial, and landlord coverage. You will provide tailored insurance solutions, handle claims, and build lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on the most appropriate property insurance products based on their unique needs, ensuring cost-effective and comprehensive coverage.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to offer bespoke solutions for residential, commercial, and landlord properties.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work with underwriters and insurance providers to secure the best coverage options and negotiate competitive premiums.
  • Support clients throughout the claims process, providing clear guidance and efficient assistance.
  • Keep up to date with industry regulations, market trends, and product innovations to deliver accurate advice.
  • Accurately record client details and insurance policies within the company's CRM system.
  • Meet individual and team targets related to sales, retention, and service excellence.
  • Provide after-sales support, including policy renewals and adjustments, ensuring clients' evolving needs are met with the most suitable cover.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in property insurance or a similar role, ideally within an insurance brokerage environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of property insurance products, including residential, commercial, and landlord policies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex insurance terms clearly to clients.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to build strong, lasting relationships.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, ensuring accuracy in client assessments and policy administration.
  • A proactive, sales-driven approach with a proven track record of meeting targets and contributing to business growth.
  • Technologically adept, with experience using CRM systems such as Acturis and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
