Job Description:
We are recruiting for highly motivated IPS Employment Specialists who will deliver intensive support to job seekers and employed customers who have mental health barriers to work across the Manchester city region.

You will work with a caseload of customers, and you will build rapport quickly whilst identifying additional barriers to employment. You will complete an in-depth diagnostic and implement training plans to support each customer to gain new skills and confidence helping them on their path in to sustainable employment or to return to work after a long-term absence.
 
You will meet your customers on a regular basis, at each intervention you will review progress, identify new initiatives/programmes, and then put SMART actions in place to monitor their progress and help define what comes next.  Throughout your engagement you will focus on increasing skills, self-worth and confidence and you will help your customers to apply for jobs, prepare for interviews and ultimately secure employment. Once employment is secured, you will provide in-work support to ensure any problems are overcome and the employment sustains.

We are seeking applicants who currently work with job seekers, or you will have transferable skills in providing advice, guidance and support to customers seeking to gain new skills/abilities to increase their confidences and personal skillset.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
