This Acquisitions Executive is an ideal opportunity for an individual with some experience within the Mergers & Acquisitions industry looking to work directly with a growing firm with ambitious acquisition plans. The business has trebled in size in nearly as many years. The goal is to grow by 3x again within next 5 years.
Our client is a financial planning firm with offices in North West and North East (Head office is Manchester).
As Acquisitions Executive, you will be working directly alongside the Managing Director who leads the acquisitions process. Your primary responsibility will be to help generate more lead opportunities for the business, this includes working with M&A Brokers and canvassing the market to source leads.
Through your work, you will help to build a portfolio of prospects for the business, with the aim of progressing deals through. If it is not the right timing for vendors, then you should stay in regular contact with them, should their situation change.
You will assist the Managing Director throughout the whole acquisition process and be a regular point of contact, with the aim of ushering cases forward.
Acquisitions Executive Requirements
- This would ideally suit a recent graduate (or graduate calibre) who has 2 years or so experience within professional service industry (ideally, M&A or financial services)
- You must be confident and capable of making outbound telephone calls to prospects
- You should have an excellent approach to your work with clear communication, professionalism and attention to detail
- Individuals, confident using Excel and be comfortable using large sets of data would be beneficial

- Salary of circa 35,000 - 40,000 depending on experience
