About the Role

A globally recognised firm supporting businesses and entrepreneurs with their international expansion into the UK are looking to appoint a Part-Time Finance Support Assistant to join the team in the Manchester Area, with the flexibility of hybrid working. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial and administrative skills who thrives in a detail-oriented environment.

As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting with day-to-day financial administration. You will also handle invoicing, expense tracking, and liaising with clients on financial matters. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior management, expand your international business knowledge, and enhance your professional skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organise financial records with accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with preparation and management invoices, expense reports, and payment schedules.
  • Assist with financial reporting and audit documentation.
  • Ensure all tax compliance filings and regulatory obligations are met on time.
  • Support account reconciliation and data entry in Xero/QuickBooks/ (SAGE is a nice to have)
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients on financial administrative matters.
  • Monitor deadlines and maintain an efficient document management system.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in financial administration, bookkeeping, or accounting support.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel. (SAGE is a nice to have)
  • Strong organisational and document management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
  • Interest in international business and compliance regulations.
