Search Consultancy is looking for experienced Kitchen Porters to join the team on temporary roles in the Hospitality industry across varied catering sectors such as: Education, Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Venues and Hospitals within Manchester.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
- Dishwasher usage
- Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
- Barista or coffee machine experience
- Serve customers and use till with some cash handling
- You will assist the kitchen team in the preparation of a mixture of hot and cold sandwiches, salads etc. You will also be in charge of counter service and customer service
Skills and Qualifications:
- You MUST have a minimum of 6 months of UK full time experience in a busy catering facility and be able to work full time hours
- Basic knowledge of table service
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Attention to detail and interpersonal skills!
