We require an experienced intelligence development officer to support a specialist law enforcement team that gathers collates and processes data on people entering and leaving the UK.
This is an interim position initially for 6 - 9 months with the potential to be extended, dependent on workload.
The role is office based and located in the Wythenshawe area.
The aim of the post is to:
- To provide accurate and timely e-Borders information to police forces and other agencies across the UK in support of crime, counter terrorist, national security and other police purposes.
- To exploit information held and processed in the e-Borders system.
- To liaise with police forces and other agencies on a case-by-case basis to identify the most appropriate course of action.
- To provide advice and guidance to police and other users of e-Borders data
Skills and Experience
1.        Experience of working in an intelligence/investigative environment
2.        IT Skills - including Internet, Email and Microsoft applications
3.        Prioritising workloads and working to deadlines
4.        Operating in a high profile changing environment
5.        Experience of working in a multi-agency environment
6.        Research/analytical skills
7.        Experience of using own initiative with minimum supervision   Â
This is a temporary role, working full-time, with a pay rate of £15.66 per hour PAYE and you’ll be working via REED who offer great benefits such as discounts, cashback offers and more as well as weekly pay.
