About the Role:

Our client is looking for a Water Field Technician to support their water asset team. You'll ensure that the water network is installed to a high standard, providing customers with wholesome drinking water while maintaining a robust and future-proof network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for developers, customers, and contractors during planned and unplanned site incidents.
  • Maintain network quality and integrity through structured audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation when attending customer sites for diagnostics or observations.
  • Ensure all assets comply with technical and regulatory standards.
  • Undertake water quality sampling following DWTS UKAS 17025 standards.
  • Attend site meetings when required.
  • Conduct internal and external pressure and flow readings.
  • Perform meter readings.
  • Any additional tasks as requested by the manager.


What Our Client is Looking For:

Essential:

  • Valid Driving Licence.
  • SHEA Water certification.
  • CSCS or equivalent qualification.
  • National Water Hygiene certification.
  • Experience in the water industry and in customer-facing roles.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards.

Desirable:

  • Confined spaces certification.
  • Network/leakage qualifications.
  • Mains hydrant and valve operation experience.
  • Water sampling expertise.
  • Construction site experience.
