Job Title: Associate Town Planner
Location: Manchester

We are currently representing a highly reputable planning consultancy, renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative planning services across a wide range of sectors. They are looking to expand their team and are seeking an experienced Associate Town Planner to join their growing office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of planning applications and projects, ensuring timely and successful outcomes for clients.
- Lead and coordinate planning teams, offering guidance and expertise to junior staff.
- Engage with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver complex planning solutions.
- Prepare and submit planning reports, applications, and appeals in accordance with planning regulations.
- Contribute to the business development of the company, building relationships with clients and pursuing new opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute) accredited degree in Town Planning or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in town planning, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of UK planning law and policy, with proven experience in handling applications, appeals, and site assessments.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present complex planning matters clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
