We are currently representing a highly reputable planning consultancy, renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative planning services across a wide range of sectors. They are looking to expand their team and are seeking an experienced Associate Town Planner to join their growing office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of planning applications and projects, ensuring timely and successful outcomes for clients.
  • Lead and coordinate planning teams, offering guidance and expertise to junior staff.
  • Engage with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver complex planning solutions.
  • Prepare and submit planning reports, applications, and appeals in accordance with planning regulations.
  • Contribute to the business development of the company, building relationships with clients and pursuing new opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute) accredited degree in Town Planning or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in town planning, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning law and policy, with proven experience in handling applications, appeals, and site assessments.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present complex planning matters clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
