Job Title: Associate Town Planner

Location: ManchesterSalary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are currently representing a highly reputable planning consultancy, renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative planning services across a wide range of sectors. They are looking to expand their team and are seeking an experienced Associate Town Planner to join their growing office.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse portfolio of planning applications and projects, ensuring timely and successful outcomes for clients.
Lead and coordinate planning teams, offering guidance and expertise to junior staff.
Engage with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver complex planning solutions.
Prepare and submit planning reports, applications, and appeals in accordance with planning regulations.
Contribute to the business development of the company, building relationships with clients and pursuing new opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute) accredited degree in Town Planning or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience working in town planning, ideally within a consultancy environment.
Strong understanding of UK planning law and policy, with proven experience in handling applications, appeals, and site assessments.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present complex planning matters clearly to clients and stakeholders.
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
