Civil Engineer (Highways or Drainage)
Location: Manchester

Are you a Civil Engineer with a passion for highways or drainage design I am looking for talented individuals with 3–6 years of UK-based civil engineering experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and delivery of highway schemes, including knowledge of Section 38 & Section 278 agreements

  • Drainage design for a range of developments, incorporating SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems)

  • Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)

  • Use of industry-standard software such as MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage

  • Liaising with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders

  • Supporting senior engineers and mentoring junior team members where required

Requirements:

  • Miniumun 6 years of relevant civil engineering experience within the UK is a MUST (Candidates with overseas experience will not be considered) 

  • Strong working knowledge of S38 & S278 highway agreements

  • Proven experience in drainage design including SuDS

  • Competency in producing flood risk assessments

  • Proficient in MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline

  • Based in Manchester
