My client is seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Town Planner to join their growing team, based out of their Greater Manchester office. This is a unique opportunity to gain a varied and enriching experience, as the role will be split between both planning consultancy work and heritage-focused projects.

There is also the oppurtunity to complete your RTPI accredited Planning Masters part time alongside this position. You will be provided with full tuition fees and one study day.

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning Consultancy: Support senior planners in providing advice on development proposals, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes. Assist in the preparation of planning applications and represent clients at pre-application meetings and consultations.
- Heritage Consultancy: Assist with heritage assessments and appraisals, including the preparation of heritage statements and supporting documentation for planning applications affecting listed buildings, conservation areas, and other heritage assets.
- Research and analysis of planning policy, development frameworks, and local plans.
- Provide support with site assessments, stakeholder engagement, and preparing reports and presentations.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant planning and heritage legislation.

Requirements:
- An RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- A valid UK driving license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A keen interest in both planning and heritage issues, with an understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Enthusiasm for working on a wide range of projects, from small-scale developments to complex heritage schemes.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
