Exciting Opportunity: Graduate Planner Role in a Leading Land Promotion Company

Location: North West

Are you a graduate looking to launch your career in planning? A highly successful and well-established land promotion company based in Congleton, Cheshire, is offering an incredible opportunity to join their team as a Graduate Planner.

This role is ideal for individuals with an RTPI-accredited degree or those nearing completion. Applications from Human Geography graduates willing to undertake a part-time master's degree in Planning are also welcome. This is your chance to develop your expertise while working with experienced land and planning professionals on a diverse, country-wide portfolio of projects.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Conducting research to support planning applications and site promotion, including policy analysis, socio-economic impacts, and settlement analysis.

  • Evaluating the planning prospects of potential development sites alongside the Land team.

  • Assisting in master planning and site design.

  • Engaging with landowners and agents to secure new sites.

  • Monitoring planning applications and changes in local and national policies.

  • Contributing to representations for Local or Neighbourhood Plan consultations.

  • Managing company data held on Local Authorities.
