The Position of a Graduate Town Planner

We are seeking a skilled and motivated GraduateTown Planner to support a diverse portfolio of planning projects. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to deliver high-quality planning advice and achieve successful outcomes for projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities of a Graduate Town Planner

  • Preparing and managing planning applications and promoting sites including 5YHLS, settlement analysis, policy analysis, site design, planning statements, socio-economic impacts.
  • Masterplanning and assisting with site design
  • Attending meeting and interviews with the prospective landowners and agents to secure new sites.

What We're Looking for in Graduate Town Planner

  • A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field (RTPI membership or eligibility preferred).
  • Demonstrable experience in planning consultancy or local authority planning.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning systems, legislation, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
