Our client, an established multi-disciplinary consultancy have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their central Manchester office. The successful candidate will be working within an established team of planners, delivering expert planning advice to their clients within the housing and renewable energy sectors.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Chartered Member of the RTPI (or close to submitting)
  • Demonstrable experience within the planning industry, working within a consultancy or local authority

Duties:

  • Taking up the role of project lead on a variety of project
  • Liaising with cllients
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Actively contribute to the further growth of the team and workload
  • Preparing and submitting applications and appeals
  • Attending client meetings and planning committees
