An excellent opportunity has become available for a Senior Town Planner to join a UK leading multi-disciplinary consultancy as part of their planning and design team based out of central Manchester. The successful Senior Town Planner will have the opportunity to work on large scale projects within the housing and enewable energy sectors.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Chartered Member of the RTPI (or close to submitting)
  • Demonstrable experience within the planning industry, working within a consultancy or local authority

Duties:

  • Taking up the role of project lead on a variety of project
  • Liaising with cllients
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Actively contribute to the further growth of the team and workload
  • Preparing and submitting applications and appeals
  • Attending client meetings and planning committees
