We're partnering with a renowned multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in the built environment and property, seeking a proactive and client-facing Senior Town Planner to join their dynamic team.

About the Role: As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in leading regeneration projects across the region, working within a multi-disciplinary team of urban designers, architects, and other experts. You will have the opportunity to manage clients, oversee project deliverables, and ensure timely delivery by managing sub-contractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
路Lead on planning projects with a focus on regeneration
路Liaise directly with clients, providing strategic advice and fostering long-term relationships
路Analyse complex information and prepare detailed reports and planning applications
路Project management, ensuring smooth delivery from inception through to completion
路Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including architects and urban designers
路Attend networking and CPD events within the built environment and property sectors
路Contribute to business development activities, with the ability to bring in work (if from a consultancy background)
路Manage sub-contractors and ensure project delivery to the highest standards
路Keep abreast of planning reforms and trends, referencing key market projects

About You:
路A proven background in town planning, with a focus on regeneration
路Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, with experience in report writing and client management
路Proactive and confident, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
路Strong project management skills and experience managing sub-contractors
路Able to embed within a team and adapt to a collaborative working culture
路Comfortable networking and attending industry events
路Experience working in a consultancy environment is ideal, with the ability to bring in new business a plus
