Job Opportunity: Town Planner - Manchester

Are you a passionate and driven Town Planner seeking an exciting new opportunity in a dynamic and growing environment? We are currently recruiting for a Town Planner to join a prestigious consultancy in the heart of Manchester.

As a Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality planning services for a wide range of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will be part of a collaborative and innovative team, working alongside experienced professionals to help shape and transform communities across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert planning advice to clients on development proposals, planning policy, and strategy.

  • Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and supporting documentation.

  • Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Undertake site assessments, research, and contribute to the preparation of planning reports.

  • Stay up to date with planning legislation, policies, and best practices.

  • Assist with the management and delivery of projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field (MRTPI qualified or working towards).

  • Experience in development planning and a sound understanding of planning legislation and policy.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver them within deadlines.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach with a desire to contribute to the growth of the team.
