My client is a Nationwide multidisciplinary firm seeking a Planner/Senior level Planner for their expanding Manchester office. They provide consultancy services to developers, investors, landowners, house builders and the public sector in the Manchester area. They have a wide range of clients includes landowners and developers of all sizes, housebuilders, retailers, contractors, local authorities, and other public agencies.

They work across a variety of schemes of all shapes and sizes, dealing with a range of issues including major brownfield regeneration sites, greenfield site allocations, and heritage and conservation matters. The team also prepares evidence base reports for local plan preparation, including retail, employment and housing needs for both the private and public sector.

The services they provide cover:

  • Preparing and managing planning applications.
  • Dealing with planning policy and site appraisals.
  • Preparation of evidence base documents.
  • Local plan promotion and monitoring.
  • Stakeholder engagement and public consultation support.
  • Regeneration Initiatives.
  • Section 106 and Community Infrastructure Levy negotiations.
  • Economic and employment impact assessments.
  • Expert witness/planning appeals.

The Position criteria:

  • RTPI accredited planning graduate.
  • A Town Planner with some work experience, or a chartered planner in the early stages of their career to join our team.
  • A great opportunity to work within a full integrated Real Estate Consultancy, working on the full range of projects across the Northwest of England.
  • You will be given the opportunity to be fully supported towards achieving your MRTPI qualification.

This role would be suitable and appropriate for:

  • An RTPI accredited planning graduate.
  • A Planner with ideally 18 months plus working experience.
  • Ideally a MRTPI recently qualified planner.
