Engineer Surveyor (Pressure Systems / Air / Steam, Refrigeration)
Salary: Basic £49,400 (includes stay away allowance), Bonus, Van, Various Other Benefits
Location: Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool or Birmingham Areas
A growing organisation are currently recruiting for a experienced Engineer Surveyor to complete inspections on pressure systems such as air compressors, refrigeration, mixed gases and steam equipment. Predominately covering the Midlands to North of England area, you will be required to inspect the necessary equipment and report on any mandatory or recommended requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer within the Pressure / Air or Steam environments to move into a specialist position and meet different clients on a daily basis.
Skills required for an Engineer Surveyor:
- Must have worked within a inspection organisation, inspecting pressure equipment such as air compressors, refrigeration, mixed gases and steam equipment.
- Mechanically biased Engineer with some Electrical knowledge.
- Ideally be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3.
- Have good knowledge of Health & Safety (PSSR Regulations) as well as Quality and Environmental factors. Â
- Be willing to help develop Junior Engineer
- Candidates can live anywhere from Birmingham up to York and over to Liverpool.
- Be able to potentially spend 3 nights a week away from home and cover the Midlands to North of England area.
