The Role

As a Senior Corporate Solicitor at Slater Heelis, you will be an integral part of our Corporate Law Department, handling a variety of complex and high-profile corporate transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with over 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to lead on significant cases, mentor junior solicitors, and contribute to the strategic development and success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on a wide range of corporate matters, ensuring high standards of client care and service.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate documents, including shareholder agreements, purchase agreements, and corporate governance documents.
  • Conduct and manage comprehensive due diligence processes.
  • Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Play a key role in the growth of the Corporate Law Department through networking, marketing initiatives, and client relationship management.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in corporate law and contribute to the firm's knowledge base.

To be successful in applying for this role, you must possess excellent client care skills, you need to be technically strong with an eye for detail as the role heavily realises on data checking and inputting. You must have the ability to communicate effectively.

You must also be reliable, organised, able to work in a busy environment, possess excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
