Themis Recruit are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Clinical Negligence Solicitor (2-5 PQE) to join a well-established, full-service law firm based in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor to further their career in a dynamic and supportive environment, handling a diverse caseload of clinical negligence claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from inception to completion, including complex and high-value claims.
  • Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients, ensuring excellent client care throughout the process.
  • Draft legal documents, including letters of claim, pleadings, and witness statements.
  • Liaise with medical experts, counsel, and other parties as required.
  • Negotiate settlements and pursue cases to trial when necessary.
  • Maintain a high standard of file management and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in Clinical Negligence.
  • Strong technical expertise in clinical negligence law, including knowledge of relevant case law and procedural rules.
  • Excellent client care skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload while meeting deadlines and targets.
