An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Lawyer to join a Local Authority based in the North of England on an interim basis.The client is willing to consider both full time and part time options (ideally 3 days +), to start in January 2025, for an initial term of 3 months and is subject to likely extension thereafter. Fully remote working is available.An hourly umbrella rate of up to £60ph is offered for this post.Duties and responsibilities may include:

Specialising in procurement, contracts and development projects
Protecting the interests of the Authority by advising upon, drafting and negotiating legal agreements
