A prestigious law firm is seeking an assistant lawyer to join their Manchester based Crime and Regulatory team. The team handles regulatory cases, motor crime, and inquest work; offering a blend of technical challenges and client interaction, this role is ideal for a solicitor with an interest in handling complex legal issues and building lasting client relationships.

As a Crime and Regulatory Lawyer, you will:

  • Support cases from incident investigation to resolution.
  • Manage health and safety, nursing/care sector, environmental and motor crime matters.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, regulators, and experts.
  • Deliver innovative legal solutions and professional training.
  • Analyse prosecution evidence and draft statements.
  • Coordinate with courts, regulatory bodies and experts.
  • Prepare and serve bundles, submissions, and evidence.

Requirements of the role:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year of experience in crime, regulatory, or care home inquests.
  • Exceptional organisational and analytical skills.
