Defendant EL/PL Lawyer

Your new companyOur client is a national insurance law firm who are currently looking to recruit an EL/PL Lawyer to join their Casualty department in Manchester. The firm offers a competitive salary and a hybrid working structure. Your new roleThis EL/PL Lawyer position will see you handle your own caseload of defendant EL/PL files valued up to £100,000 on behalf of a number of insurer clients. As you will be handling files on a non-delegated authority basis, strong EL/PL experience is required. You will be required to review evidence such as witness statements, GP records and occupational health records. What you'll need to succeedYou must be suitably qualified (solicitor, chartered legal executive or qualified through relevant experience) with strong litigated EL/PL experience. Applicants from a defendant background are preferable, however, those from a claimant background are encouraged to apply. You must have strong advocacy and client care skills.
