Job role:

As a Personal Injury Fee Earner, you will be responsible for managing a Pre-Litigated and Litigated caseload of 100-120 Employer's Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) files.

You will:

  • Handle a diverse caseload, working across pre-litigated and litigated files
  • Write letters and negotiate settlements with clients and third parties
  • Draft witness statements and review medical reports
  • Issue court proceedings and manage the litigation process
  • Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them updated and providing advice

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Full working knowledge of CPR (Civil Procedure Rules) and JC guidelines (Judicial College Guidelines)
  • Proven experience in handling litigated caseloads
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
