The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of predominantly pre- and post-issue fast-track Employers’ Liability cases. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, fast-paced, and target-driven environment, where your success is rewarded with an attractive commission structure. You’ll be part of a well-regarded law firm that values tenacity, ability, and enthusiasm above qualifications.Candidate Profile/Experience NeededWe are seeking a lawyer who demonstrates the following professional qualities:
  • Proven experience in handling a litigated caseload, with a focus on Employers’ Liability claims.
  • Genuine tenacity and the ability to drive cases through litigation to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
  • Experience with fast-track cases and knowledge of the civil procedure rules (CPR) and trends in litigation.
  • Ability to manage a non-portal caseload while having previous exposure to the portal.
  • Strong skills in drafting legal documents, including pleadings and witness statements, and negotiating settlements.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing cases from inception through to trial or disposal hearing.
  • Knowledge of the Proclaim case management system is advantageous.
