Expert Barristers Clerk (Matrimonial Finance)

Manchester

£32,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience). We may be able to pay more for a highly experienced candidate.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (1-hour lunch)

Holidays: 25 per year plus Bank Holidays (rising with length of service)

We are looking for a confident and competent family barristers’ clerk to join our award-winning Family Clerks team in this expert level role, based in Manchester. Working with the Assistant Senior Clerk (Matrimonial Finance), you will be a go-to clerk for our market-leading matrimonial finance team servicing a wide range of work including that of high-net-worth clients. You will work with the wider Family clerking team across our four sites, to ensure the delivery of a smooth and comprehensive clerking service to all our matrimonial finance practitioners and their clients.

At this level we are looking for clerks with sound knowledge and competence in all aspects of diary management and fee negotiation, ideally in this area of law and will encourage development in practice and business development planning and activities. You will benefit from an environment where you can grow your knowledge and experience amongst a large team of experienced clerks.
