As Head of Private Client, you will play a pivotal role in growing the department, leveraging technology to improve client service, and leading a dynamic team of legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities of a Head of Private Client:

Department Growth & Innovation

Develop and implement a strategic plan for expanding the Private Client department, with a focus on new business generation and cross-border cases.Utilize legal tech and innovative solutions to streamline workflows and enhance client experiences.Act as a thought leader, championing advancements in legal technology and best practices in client care.

Client & Case Management

Provide expert legal advice on high-value, complex contentious probate cases, including international probate matters.Leverage your existing client following to drive revenue growth and strengthen the firm’s client portfolio.Ensure exceptional client service, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and trust.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing legal team.Drive team productivity and efficiency through effective delegation, feedback, and training initiatives.Oversee departmental resources, compliance, and service standards to maintain legal excellence.

Requirements:

10+ years PQE in contentious probate, with proven expertise in handling complex cases.Established client following and a successful track record in business development.Experience in cross-border and international probate matters.Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing teams.Tech-savvy, with a keen interest in leveraging legal technology to improve efficiency and service delivery.Strategic thinker with outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
