A well-established law firm in Manchester is seeking an Industrial Disease/Military Claims Solicitor to join their experienced team. This is an exciting opportunity to handle complex and high-value cases while benefiting from a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role:

As an Industrial Disease/Military Claims Solicitor, you will manage a caseload of military claims, both litigated and pre-litigated, alongside industrial disease claims where appropriate. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling complex and high-value claims against the Ministry of Defence
  • Managing fast track and multi-track litigated cases, including Short Tail and Long Tail diseases
  • Progressing cases efficiently while providing high-quality client care
  • Ensuring cases are conducted in compliance with legal procedures and best practices
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Experience managing a caseload of military claims and industrial disease cases
  • Strong litigation skills, with the ability to handle both fast track and multi-track cases
  • Excellent knowledge of personal injury, industrial disease, and military claims law
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
