Job Title: Re-Train NQ Solicitor - Insolvency & Restructuring TeamLocation: Central Manchester (Hybrid Role - 3 days in the office)Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE)About the Role:We are looking for a talented and motivated Newly Qualified (NQ) Solicitor to join our top-tier Insolvency & Restructuring team in the heart of Manchester. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with a background in Insurance Litigation, Finance Litigation, or Commercial Litigation to transition into the dynamic field of Insolvency and Restructuring.As part of our highly respected team, you will work with leading industry experts on complex, high-profile matters involving corporate insolvencies, restructurings, and cross-border issues. You will be exposed to a wide range of challenging legal work, including advising creditors, debtors, and insolvency practitioners on various restructuring and insolvency-related disputes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal advice and support on a variety of insolvency and restructuring matters, including formal insolvency procedures (administrations, liquidations, and CVAs).
  • Working on contentious insolvency cases, including challenging transactions, asset recovery, and director misfeasance.
  • Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, reports, and correspondence for complex litigation matters.
  • Assisting senior solicitors in managing client relationships and progressing matters efficiently and effectively.
  • Attending client meetings, court hearings, and working alongside colleagues to provide strategic advice.
  • Developing knowledge and expertise in insolvency and restructuring law, building on your prior experience in litigation.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to provide a seamless service to clients.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified solicitor (0-2 years PQE) with a solid background in Insurance Litigation, Finance Litigation, or Commercial Litigation.
  • A strong interest in transitioning into Insolvency and Restructuring law and a genuine enthusiasm for learning and developing expertise in this area.
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork ethic, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
